Junk Mail

I wish snail mail worked like e-mail: letters and bills in one section and solicitations in another.  Instead of doing something productive (like getting rid of the spider webs in our house), I spent the morning shredding credit card offers and removing our names from mailing lists.  During my search I found a nationally list similar to the "Do Not Call" list, but it required personal information (other than our mailing address)...so I opted to call each company individually.

Before today, I entertained myself by shredding up the offers, stuffing the shreds in the prepaid envelope, and mailing it back.  My own personal job creation....but I couldn't keep up with it anymore.  Take me off the list!

I'll let you know if it works.  Most said to wait 6-8 weeks for the offers to stop!
