We're Back: the month recap

Nov 3: Callen is 9 months.  Weighs just over 19 pounds and has 5 teeth.

Nov 9: Pack up and leave for Maui, Hawaii (my first time).

Nov 10-19: Spend 9 wonderful days with Drew's family.
Nov 11:  Callen learns to crawl after less than 24 hours watching his cousins.
Nov 20: Arrived home from Hawaii at 4:30am.  After a few hours of rest, drove to Santa Maria to sign loan papers!

Nov 23: Packed up (again) and traveled to Borrego Springs for Thanksgiving

Nov 24-27: Celebrated Thanksgiving by spending time with Nana, playing football, hiking, and "off-road-ing".
Nov 27:  Remember the big stack of diapers from the Diaper Derby Invitational?  We finally used them all...Thank you to all who played and diapered Callen for the first 9.5 months.

Nov 30: Get keys to our HOUSE!! More pictures to come...
Dec 1: Make an early morning visit to ER.  Callen had been wheezing and coughing, diagnosed with croup.

Dec 3: Started working on the house: removing carpet and scraping the ceilings.  Watched Drew play in the annual Toys for Tots Softball tournament.  Callen turns 10 months.
About 20 lbs and has 6 teeth

Dec 4: Christmas Party celebration at The Harbor: caroling, good food, friends, Christmas play, and crafts.

Dec 5: Pie Party with our young couples small group.  Husbands made dinner pies.  Wives made dessert pies.  Drew's pie won "Unhealthiest".   Recipe to come...

Dec 7: Narrowly escaped a head-on collision from a drunk driver while on our way to celebrate Nana's 72nd birthday.  Thanks to Drew's driving and God's protection, contact was only made with the mirror.  After hitting us, the driver hit the bed of a semi-truck.  Miraculously, no one was hurt and there was only minimal damage to the drunk driver's car.

Dec 10-11: The house work continues...Finish scrapping the ceilings!
Cal and I play in the yard while Dad and Grandpa work on the inside
Dec 10: Drew's work Christmas Party at Rancho Bowl.

Dec 12: Cookie Exchange Party!!

Whew...and we still have to find time to make our gingerbread houses...last year we had problems with the humidity.
Merry Christmas!
