Master Chef

Master Chef: getting a child or adult to eat and enjoy foods that they hate

That's me.  At least how I feel right now.  Callen is just like Drew when it comes to eating: texture is important.  Mealtimes have been a battle ground for the two of us.  A guessing game about what Cal will eat.

Today's lunch menu: Quesadilla with 2 slices of cheese and turkey.  He hates all of these ingredients on their own.  But devoured it today along with raisins and apples.

Another success story: he'll eat milk, bananas and strawberries blended together, but not on their own.

Most meals end up on the floor or back in my face, that is why today is so exciting.  He'll eat yesterday's rejected food out of the trash or off the floor.

Maybe when I've learned the spiritual lesson to be gained from his habits, Cal will change his behavior.
