Good-bye, 2012...Hello, 2013!

We didn't make it to midnight to ring in the new year, but Callen woke us up early enough at 5am.  "Happy New You, Mama!"

Several years ago my dad joined the masses in running in the water at noon.  Since then, he has accumulated a small following.  Next year, I'm hoping the guys dress up in something silly.

After the dip, we enjoyed homemade clam chowder and the entertainment of Drew and Tim kayak surfing.

You're right...the sunset was soooo much better on the 31st than on the 1st.

And Kevin's kayaking pictures are soooo much better than mine this time! Tim is in the middle of writing a blog post about kayaking, and he may want some of those pictures haha. He's talking about getting dominated that day.
