Callen [Kal-in]- Victorious; Defended of God
Christopher- Bearer/Carrier of Christ
For 41 weeks we eagerly awaited the arrival of our baby, and on February 3 the suspense ended as we were introduced to a baby boy: Callen Christopher. Many of you have not had the chance to meet Callen, so we have included a few things that we are learning about him in these first weeks. One month down…

FAQ: How did you pick the name? First off, we had no idea that his name would be so hard to pronounce or confusing. Drew and I both went through our name book independently writing down first and middle names. Eventually, we sat down and compared lists. Callen had been one of the first names I picked out, and we both agreed on. About a week before the due date, we finalized our name list and agreed that if we had a boy he would be named Callen. Christopher is my brother’s middle name, and we agreed that Callen Christopher flowed easily off the tongue (in the event that we had to yell it).
