Survival of the Fittest

This Christmas was spent creating new traditions since Dad was called into work Christmas afternoon.  The rest of us found ourselves entertaining inside while it was pouring and stormy outside.  The boys hurried to the stash of board games in the closet and came out with the Worse Case Scenario Game

Would you survive?  Try and visualize each of the options.  (Answers in the comments.)

1.  How to survive a mugging…
A.  If you are not in danger, simply surrender your belongings.  If your attacker has harmful intentions, strike him/her in the eyes or groin.
B.  Scream loudly and perform some animated martial arts-style kicks in the air.
C.  Wet your pants or if you can’t do that, drool saliva down your chin.

2.  How to take precautions when crossing a river…
A.  Put your backpack on your chest instead of on your back to prevent your head from hitting a rock if you fall.
B.  Undo the waist strap on your backpack so you can remove it quickly if you fall.
C.  Unzip your pants to ensure the zipper doesn’t rust shut.

3.  How to react when a train suddenly brakes…
A.  Throw yourself on the floor and rest your chin on your chest.
B.  If you are standing, sit on another passenger; if you are sitting, pull another passenger onto you.
C.  Immediately run to the closest exit and jump off the train.

4.  How to treat an open wound while adrift at sea…
A.  Clean the wound with fresh water then bandage it tightly for 24 hours.
B.  Clean the wound with saltwater or fresh urine.  Bandage it securely and do not change the dressing unless the wound begins to smell.
C.  Rub seaweed on the wound.  Do not apply a bandage.

5.  How to survive a riot in a foreign country…
A.  Determine the best route to the airport or embassy.  Wear muted colored clothing and walk at a normal pace.
B.  Get in the middle of a mob and try to blend it.
C.  Sprint to any police office or embassy.
