Our pallet table was modeled after this table seen is Sunset magazine. We left the center board loose because one day we will build a removable succulent garden. The chairs were salvaged from a dumpster when a local furniture store was moving. Each has a few flaws, but they are perfect for a patio.
The DIY table was supposed to be "nearly" free, since we had most of the supplies...except for the 4x4's used for the legs. And that's where "nearly" free became $250! When loading the 10 foot board into our car, slight pressure on the windshield caused a little chip to spider web into a crack!
